Introduction

Nepal Kaidibandi Vyavasthapan Sangh is a non-profit organization and is born with the aim of minimizing the possibility of recidivism by providing technical and vocational training as well as psychological consultations to the inmates. At the same time, this objective will support to the security of a general public. We intend to support financially and morally to the of the low income families of prisoners.A lot of researches have been conducted in many countries and found out that serving the time in prison doesn’t really makes the person not to do the crime again instead they have got more tendencies on recidivism. We as organization come up with an opinion that if we can make any difference to those who had offended knowingly and unknowingly and have been incarcerated at their productive time of their life.
Those who have been imprisoned for long time and six months before they finish their sentence is the time we call it gap to reintegrate in society. We believe this is the critical phase that if we are able to provide short term vocational training and develop their skill, they might involve their life in work instead of living their life as a burden of society. Everybody should have a chance to change their dark past to the bright future .Especially, for the reintegration and re-socialization of inmates which will help build a bridge to fulfill the gap between their life behind the bar and outside the bar, which ultimately help a society to become more safer place for general public and also a golden opportunity for inmates to live with human dignity.
